A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of seeing one of our favorite restaurants at Meatopia. Upon entering Meatopia,  Sip Sak was on the first corner and I knew we were in for a treat. Sip Sak is a Turkish restaurant located on Second Avenue and 50th st, and it’s one of my favorite places to eat in the city. There are two items that are a must try if you can make it. One is the octopus, because I have NO clue how they prepare it. It is the most juicy, well seasoned, grilled octopus I have ever had. The second item is the Hand Chopped Spicy Lamb served over pita bread. I love the lamb and the crisp bread combination.

Chef Orhan Yegen has a wonderful sense of humor which you can see from their website. He shares his opinions about Iron Chef and more. And I have to say, I agree with him!

So if you are in NYC and want grab a bite to eat, hop on up to Sip Sak for a wonderful bite to eat.
