We have to post about the royals! With all the excitement over William and Kate, I thought it only fitting we do a post on the royals. Only with a different twist. Daucus Carota (Queen Anne’s Lace) is the royal we will be discussing! This flower has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. It is fancy and delicate looking. Of course, I always saw it in a ‘weed’ like environment growing wild alongside the road.

I bumped into these while shopping for some flowers for a potshot and couldn’t resist. I love the green and white colors for summer as well, they are fresh and inspiring.
