As the Thanksgiving Holiday nears we wanted to share one of our favorite recipes. We have made this every Thanksgiving for the past 6 years and it has become one of our new traditions. It never fails and it great for a number of reasons. It doubles as a vegetarian main course which is important if you are entertaining a large group. The real bonus for us is that you can make it the day before and reheat. It actually tastes better reheated (we think).

Granted you will dirty every pot, a baking dish, your blender and food processor but it is well worth it. Especially since you can get a start the day before.

We thank Giada for sharing her recipe, it’s the best. You can get the recipe here at The Food Network. We have made this recipe part of our family and hope you make it part of yours.
