The sun is out, summer is here and it’s time for cocktails! There is nothing like relaxing the afternoon away in the warm weather, with a perspiring glass.

Lately my new obsession has been with The Kraken rum. This deep dark rum goes perfect with almost any kind of citrus, not to mention the beautiful Kraken illustration on the label. I can’t seem to keep this on the shelf, it’s that good.

We had few people over last week for a cocktail hour and I unleashed The Kraken. I mixed up my favorite concoction and I call it “The Kraken Lure”, it will get you overtime.

Ingredients

• 1 part The Kraken rum
• 2 parts orange juice
• Lime wedge squeezed
• Splash of seltzer
